UHC Annual Conference 2011 app for iPhone and iPad

The UHC Annual Conference 2011, “LEAP: Lead, Excel, Achieve, Perform,” on September 21-23 in Chicago, features content by and for academic medical center leaders in clinical, operational, financial, and supply chain areas. This UHC LEAP application will allow you to download sessions to your personal schedule, see which suppliers are attending, and receive updates and alerts about conference events.

Educational sessions at the conference focus on ways health care organizations can improve quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and more. The conference also offers posters, demonstrations, and council meetings, as well as opportunities to network with colleagues and UHC and Novation suppliers. (Novation is UHC’s supply contracting company.)

The opening plenary session features Jim Collins, author of Good to Great and other best-selling books. Susan Dentzer, editor-in-chief of Health Affairs and a commentator on public radio and television, is the speaker for the second plenary session.

Don’t miss the UHC Member Celebration, including recognition of UHC and Novation award winners, on Thursday evening at Navy Pier.
